Edward
Species: Scarlet Macaw

Edward is a wonderful bird. He will step right up for you. He will say "up up" when he wants up. He likes women. Edward is permanently plucked on his back and chest but he is used to having c lothes on. He will let you take them on and off with no issues. Edward loves to fly outside in the aviary. So you would have to have an aviary for the summer time for him. If you tell him to fly somewhere he will go. He was surrender with no cage so you would have to provide a cage. Right now he stays in a A and E cage that is 48"x36"x76" he really loves his big cage. Here is the web site you can find this cage.

Wilma Species: Catalina Macaw (blue and gold X scarlet macaw) Aggression: no Age: 20 years old Children: No Noise level: Very loud Wilma is going be a great bird. We have a lot of work to do with Wilma. Wilma loves to talk up a storm. She is plucked but we have been working with her with c lothes. She is doing very well. You have to have macaw experience if you are interested in Wilma. She loves to tell on herself when she bites. She will tell you "ouch that hurts", let go let go now, don't bite, thats bad". She will ask you everyday "how are you". She has only been with us a short time but everyday she is getting better. |
Bella
Species:Scarlet Macaw
Aggression: tame, can bite for no reason

Bella is working on growing all her feathers back. She was a naked bird when she came to the rescue. She is doing much better now. She will bite for no reason. She was left in a basement with not enough food and water. She also had flea drop medication put on her by her previous owers. She prefers women and she is very bird aggressive. So you will have to be the only bird in the home. You will have to have some macaw experience if you are interested in Bella.
Chase
Species: Double yellow headed Amazon
Aggression:tame
Age: 10 years old
Children: No
Noise level: Talks very loud
Chase is a wonderful amazon. He will talk up a strom but can be loud at times. Loves to be around other birds and haug out all day on the top of his cage. He is looking for his right forever family.

Birds in Rehabilitation
These are birds that we are working with right now. Once we feel that they are ready to be placed in a home they will be for adoption.
Captain
Species: Umbrella Cockatoo
Aggression: Tame
Age: 14 years old
Children: No
Noise level: Very loud
Captain is a very sweet cockatoo. We are making sure that captain is not plucking anymore before she leaves the rescue. She is doing very well and will be going to the vet for her check up soon.
Max
Species: Sulphur Crested Cockatoo
Aggression: can be aggresive at times
Age: 50+
Children: No
Noise level: Very loud like most cockatoos
We are still working with max's aggression issues. He is a good bird. He loves to cuddle in a towel. Max was kept in a back bedroom for many years. So he has a lot of work ahead of him but well on his way.
